The Hagia Sophia
The Hagai Sophia embodied Christianity for some 1500 yeaqrs. Light dove through its dome to signify joy in the world to come. The smell of frankinsense rose, entermingling with the above-mentioned light. It pains me to report that this has changed. The Hagioa Sophia is now a mosque. Non-Muslims are not allowed on the ground floor. The entry fee is 25 Euros for everybody over 8. The fees can be reversed, if cancelled within 24 hours. Happy and safe travels!
